We started our celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by learning how to make icing so we could decorate our cakes for the street party in red, white and blue (the colours of the Union Jack).

After our PE lesson, we finished icing cakes for the whole school then went for a look at the start of the decorations being put out for the street party. We also had a mini race to burn off even more of our excitement...

We invited Mrs Peters back to join us for the celebrations and we enjoyed singing together.

All of a sudden, it was time for our long-awaited street party...
